The largest public directory of Flock Safety camera locations
FlockLocations.com is a community-maintained database of Flock Safety ALPR (Automatic License Plate Reader) cameras reported across the United States. With over 132k+ camera locations spanning more than 200 cities and all 51 states and territories, this is the most comprehensive public record of Flock Safety deployments available anywhere.
Each city page shows every reported camera in that municipality, including the street address, mount type, verification status, and date reported. Verified cameras have been confirmed by at least one additional community member. Unverified cameras are community-reported but have not yet been independently confirmed.
Why city-level data matters
Flock Safety cameras are typically purchased and operated at the city or HOA level, making city-by-city data the most actionable unit for residents, journalists, and researchers. Knowing which intersections and neighborhoods are covered — and how densely — helps communities understand the scope of automated surveillance in their area.
Cities like Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Chicago, IL have some of the highest camera densities in the country. Use the search above to find your city, or sort by camera count to see which municipalities have the most extensive Flock Safety deployments.

Frequently asked questions
How many cities have Flock Safety cameras?
Our database currently tracks cameras in 200 cities across the United States. New cities are added regularly as community members report new camera locations. The actual number of cities with Flock Safety deployments is likely higher, as not all cameras have been reported yet.
Which city has the most Flock Safety cameras?
Based on community reports, large metros like Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Chicago, IL consistently rank among the highest camera counts. Sort the table above by "Most Cameras" to see the current top cities in our database.
How do I report a Flock Safety camera in my city?
Use the Report a Camera page to submit a new location. You can drop a pin on the map or enter an address. Reports are reviewed and can be verified by other community members. GPS-based mobile reporting is also available for quick field submissions.
What does "verified" mean for a camera?
A verified camera has been confirmed by at least one community member independent of the original reporter. Verification typically involves physically observing the camera at the reported location. Unverified cameras are still included in the database but are displayed differently on the map.
Can I download the city-level camera data?
Yes. The full dataset including city, state, GPS coordinates, and verification status is available on the Data Export page in CSV and GeoJSON formats. The data is licensed under CC BY 4.0 (tabular) and ODbL 1.0 (geographic), meaning you can freely use and republish it with attribution.
Are Flock Safety cameras the same as traffic cameras?
No. Flock Safety cameras are dedicated ALPR (Automatic License Plate Reader) devices that capture and store license plate data, vehicle make/model, and timestamps. They are distinct from red-light cameras and general traffic monitoring cameras. See our Flock vs. Traffic Camera guide for a full comparison.
